“ I do not live in Clinton, was visiting my dad and we ordered take out from here. Very good food!!! Very good service. Outside does not quite reflect inside. It's nice and has a good flow for the inside. Would recommend! ”
“ Y'all. **This is a get off the interstate stop.** This place is solid for high quality BBQ and sides. When the chef/owner asks your preference of lean or fat on the brisket, you can tell they know what their doing and care about your experience. The food was clean, not greasy or any appearance of just sitting around be waiting to be served. The taste was just as good. Sliced brisket Green beans Sweet potatoe crunch (crunch pecans!!) I had two sauce options. A sweet red and, of course, a spot-on Carolina mustard. For my spicy friends, I did not ask if they had something that would kick it up a few notches, but I'm sure they do I didn't purchase anything from the butcher side of the business but just by looking at the sinage, they have plenty of cuts of beef, pork, chicken as well as unique game offerings. Special requests for the butcher are welcome. ”
“ Love this place! Hidden gem in a small town! The owner is a very impressive, genuinely friendly gentleman. He has vast experience at smoking the real way. None of the wood fired gas appliances most places use here! I honestly didn't try the BBQ Mainstays, but I have no doubt they are spot on. The hash over rice was excellent. The fried shrimp were dusted with a combination of flour and corn meal ,with spices done perfectly. And the Mac and cheese, dang it was tasty. I look forward to trying other menu items when we come through that area again.. ”

“ I would drive a distance to eat the Brisket here! We are traveling through from NC to Georgia off the interstate and we will travel this way again. We got a variety platter to go with Ribs, Brisket, Pork, hash and rice, Cole slaw and baked beans and my husband and I agree everything was very good! My favorite was the Brisket and Pork and the ribs were great too! I am picky with my Brisket. I like it to be moist and have good flavor and this was perfect! (The pictures aren’t the best because we picked at the brisket already.) Glad we found this place just wish we lived closer! ”
